Google的一小步……1969年7月20日，人类首次登月。数十年之后，我们荣幸的将你领入其中。Google Moon是Google Maps和Gogole Earth的一个扩展，由NASA赞助影像，使你能够在月球表面肆意遨游，并查看阿波罗宇航员登陆的精确位置。

One small step for Google... On July 20, 1969, man first landed on the Moon. A few decades later, we're pleased to cut you in on the action. Google Moon is an extension of Google Maps and Google Earth that, courtesy of NASA imagery (thanks, guys!), enables you to surf the Moon's surface and check out the exact spots that the Apollo astronauts made their landings.'"

　　1969年7月20日，人类实现第一次登月着陆。为了纪念这一伟大成功，Google将NASA(美国航天局)提供的部分月球照片发布在Google Maps，并推出二级域名Google Moon，让您也能有幸访问我们的宇宙邻居。Google祝愿大家月上冲浪愉快！

　　进入Google Moon，首先映入眼帘的就是一副凹凸不平的灰白色照片。上面以字母顺序分别标注了阿波罗11号、12号、14号、15号、16号、17号的精确着陆地点。利用照片左侧的放大缩小按钮，你还能更加清楚的观察月球表面的图像。

　　Google在网站帮助页面上表示，Google Moon是Google Maps（地图搜索）和Google Earth（三维地理搜索）的进一步延伸。为了纪念人类登月的伟大创举，同时感谢NASA（美国航天局提供的月球照片资料），Google才能让广大用户观赏月球表面，找到阿波罗号宇航员们的着陆点。

　　展望未来，Google Moon还有着远大美好的愿望，那就是继续Google哥白尼行动计划，并继续扩大驻月研发中心。Google幻想等到2069年7月20日，人类等月100周年纪念的那天，Google能够将Google Local地方搜索的各种搜索功能集成到Google Moon。届时用户就能快速找到月球商家的地址、联系电话，营业时间等等各种有价值的月上地方信息。
