无锡,是我国集成电路工业的重镇,经国家科技部批准，2001年6月正式建立国家集成电路
设计无锡产业化基地。将通过政府引导、政策扶持和优化产业环境等有效措施推动设计
产业发展。无锡基地现有近4万M2设计园区，配备了共用的高端设计平台和测试平台，具
备完善的政策和投资环境。无锡基地建立以来，设计企业数量和产业规模实现了成倍增
长，现有专业设计公司35家，产业规模近10亿元。成为微电子产业发展的新的热土。

Wuxi is one of the centers of IC industry in China. After being approved by 
the Ministry of Science and Technology, the National IC Design Wuxi Industri
alization Base Opens in June 2001. Its target is to promoting the developmen
t of IC design industry with the governmental direction and policy support, 
optimized industry environment. And the Base has set up the advanced IC desi
gn platform and test platform. The Base, with office area of nearly 40,000 m
2, has formed a complete incubating system composed of promoting policies, t
alent training plan, technical support and financing support. Since the Base
’s set up, the quantity and scale of IC design companies in it have increas
ed several times. Now there are 35 IC design companies with 1 billion RMB sa
les incomes. Wuxi has become an investment hot land for microelectronics ind
ustry.

functions of the Wuxi Base, as one of the seven IC Base of China.
