The 8th International Conference for Young Computer Scientists
Beijing, China
September 20-22, 2005
http://icycs05.bjut.edu.cn
In recent years, the emergence of new technologies, such as wireless and sensor
networks, GRID computing, ubiquitous and self-organized Internet, and ad hoc
networks, have caused a significant impact to the advanced of computer related
technologies. These fast advanced technologies are changing people's life style in
working, study, and entertainment. Today information technology is one of major
focuses in academic research and has become a driving force for industry to
generate new products. Building on the success of previous conferences, the 8th
International Conference for Young Computer Scientists (ICYCS'05), sponsored by
the China Computer Federation, will be held in Beijing, China on September 20-22,
2005.
The theme of ICYCS'05 is convergence of computing technologies in the new era. In
the past years, ICYCS previous conferences had been successfully held in Harbin,
Beijing, Nanjing, Hangzhou, Xi'an, etc. ICYCS'05 will follow the tradition of the
previous conferences by emphasizing the emerging new technologies as well as on
the interdisciplinary efforts in the broad field of computer science and
technology. The conference will provide an open forum for researchers from
academic, industrial, and related fields to exchange different views and share the
latest achievements and experiences in research and development in the broad areas
of computer science and information technology.
ICYCS'05 invites the submissions of original papers addressing the different

Paper Submission
The language of the conference is English. Therefore, every paper submitted to the
conference must be written in English to be reviewed, accepted for presentation at
the conference and included in the conference proceedings.
The first author of all submissions must be 45 years old or younger.
All submissions should report original work, must not have been published
previously and are not currently under review by another conference. Each
submission must include the paper title, the authors' names, affiliations, post
addresses, telephone and fax numbers and email addresses. Each paper should also
include 3-5 keywords and an abstract of 100-150 words. Submissions may be in the
form of a full paper of no longer than 10 pages or of a short paper of no longer
than 5 pages (including all figures and tables) in a single column, single space
format with a font size of 11 or bigger.
All submissions must be prepared in the PDF or Microsoft Word formats and
submitted to the conference for review through e-mail: icycs05@bjut.edu.cn .
All the papers accepted and presented at the conference will be included in the
conference proceedings and published.
At least one of the authors of each accepted paper must register and present the
paper at the conference for the paper to be included in the conference
proceedings.
Selected papers published in the conference proceedings will be referred to and
