Scope :
Organizations need adaptive and on-demand businesses and processes to meet dynamic business strategies. Collaboration and integration are their focus when implementing information systems. Application integration techniques are main considerations. With open standards and cross-platform pursuit, SOA and Web services are becoming prosperous in recent years to enable IT technology to facilitate enterprises perform business services more efficiently and effectively. They are currently contributing to shape the processes of business modeling, solution creation, service delivery, and software architecture design, development and deployment.
The First International Workshop on Service-Oriented Application, Integration and Collaboration(SOAIC-2005) will be held together with The 5th International Conference on Computer and Information Technology (CIT2005) on September 21-23, 2005, in Shanghai, China.
SOAIC-2005 has the mission of "Service-Oriented, Application-centric, Integration-focused, collaboration enforced". It promotes to incorporate Business Services with IT Services with emerging technologies that include service-oriented architecture (SOA) and Web services, business process integration, business performance management, and autonomic computing.
The major topics of interests include, but not limited to:
- Service-Oriented Architecture
- Web Services Industry Standards, Service Level Automation and Orchestration
- Web Services Modeling and (Business) Development Platforms,
- Service-Oriented Application/Software Architecture Design, Development and Deployment
- Dynamic Service Composition and Process Modeling
- Business Process Modeling, Transformation and Integration Services
- Business and Application Integration Services
- Industrial SOA Solutions and Practices
- Business Performance Management Services
- Efficiency and Security Issues with Industry Solutions
Paper Submissions:
- Submission. Submissions should include an abstract of 100 words, 5-7 keywords, the e-mail address of the corresponding author, and must not exceed 8 pages (IEEE format), including tables and figures, with PDF, PostScript, or MS Word format.If you can not access IEEE CS web sites, you can find copies of IEEE formats here: IEEE_CS_Latex.zip, format.pdf, instruct.doc instruct.dot instruct.pdf instruct.txt
- Please submit your paper directly to the workshop chair or co-chair.
- Review. Contributions will be reviewed by at least three reviewers from both program Committee and external reviewers for relevance and technical contents on basis of papers.
- Publication. Accepted papers will be published in proceedings of CIT2005 by IEEE Computer Society Press (cited by EI, INSPEC, cross-searchable by SCI). Selected papers will be included in a special issue of prestigious journal indexed by SCI ( to be determined), after expanded.
