Scope of the Workshop
The workshop addresses computer-supported integration and interoperability of enterprise applications and software. Indeed, enterprises are faced to-day to a situation similar to that of software engineering environments, a couple of years before, that is enterprises are provided with collection of heterogeneous applications and software tools that were nor designed nor developed to favour their interaction and their cooperation. The problem is more crucial when one considers networked and extended enterprises. Moreover, interoperability within an enterprise and between enterprises considers various levels, like data, applications, and business models, process models, enterprise models, and their supporting systems (when they are available).
The workshop focuses on the variety of novel methods, automated support, architectures and technologies that may strengthen the ability of an enterprise ``as a whole'' to easily, correctly and safely render its existing (as well as its future).
Topics (not limited to):
Enterprise models management: integration, evolution, model-based interoperability, etc.
Enterprise business processes and applications (ERP, SCM, APS …) interoperability.
Knowledge-based and semantic-based support for enterprise’s models and systems interoperability,
Cooperative enterprise internet services and applications,
Communication and cooperation in virtual enterprises,
Integration and coupling of enterprise’s models and systems,
Interoperable enterprise electronic governance and business,
Interoperability of models, architectures and enabling technology in centralized as well as networked enterprises,
Methods and patterns for networked enterprise systems interoperability,
Formality in interoperability solutions.
