These days we are talking about the Quantum Mechenics by Landau and Lifshitz.

I asked a foreign teacher who is teaching the graduated students of our school

QM and himself used to be a student of W.Pauli this question. He told me after

a little while that the QM by Landau is the best in his mind. "Beacause it
is clear." He metioned about the one by Schiff too--"Good at QM's applications

but the theory explained is not very clear." At last, he told me that in
Landau's QM, a mistake which exists in Pauli(his teacher)'s thoeritical physic

is corrected. "Both the two authors(L&L) are very good physists, especially
Landau.", he said. Well, his teacher is good enough, and Landau can correct
his teacher's mistake!
