M in 1986 (a record in Asia at the time), his main results are:
Shared first at San Francisco 1987, New York Open 1993, 1st at Schaan 1993, 
won Kuala Lumpur zonal 1995. In 1997 he drew with Karpov in friendly match 3
-3, won the Burma zonal 1998. In 2000 he won the individual gold medal and b
est performance on board 1 at the 2000 Olympiad of Istanbul.
