The Nobel Foundation wishes to inform you that the Prize-Awarding Institutions
 have set the following dates for their announcement of the respective Nobel P
rize winners for 2005:

Monday, October 3
(11:30 a.m. at the earliest) 
 
 The Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine
(The Nobel Assembly at Karolinska Institutet, Wallenbergsalen, Nobel Forum, No

Tuesday, October 4
(11:45 a.m. at the earliest) The Nobel Prize in Physics

Wednesday, October 5

In keeping with tradition, the Swedish Academy will set the date for its annou
ncement of the Nobel Prize in Literature later.

Each 2005 Nobel Prize will amount to 10.0 million Swedish kronor (2004: MSEK 1
0.0). In other words the sum of the Nobel Prizes (Physics, Chemistry, Physiolo
gy or Medicine, Literature and Peace) will be MSEK 50.0. In addition, The Bank
 of Sweden (Sveriges Riksbank) Prize in Economic Sciences in Memory of Alfred 
Nobel will amount to MSEK 10.0.
