Dear Commrades,

Following is some skills in writing your resume.

The most important thing in writing a resume is that you must tell the 
people who read it that you are a people of worth, aa people of outstanding.
 All the resume ftom chinese students seems that almost written by one
 people, because they are talking about same xperience, making up same
 achievements, and tell the same purpose in entrance. So, as a chinese
 studnet, youy must let the professors feel that you are different at the
 very beginning. There are some rules that  you shoudl do and should not do.


The things that you shoudl do:

(1)Show all your extroordinary attainments, from the middle school to
 university, every achievement should be translated in the best version, like
 "You Xiu Bi Ye Sheng" as ' Honorable excellent Graduate" or etc. Some tiems,
 misleading is very useful like you wriet you are the oen fo the only two
 students who got XXX honor in china, which in fact will only give to the 
students from your school. but the former version is splendid.

(2)Shwo your really being interested in the subject that carried by the most
 faculty members. The best way to do this is that you depict the experience
 you have done exactly. Sometiems, you need to select carefully the words
 you use, especially the words in your field. Sometimes you have taken part
 in one program, but you are not the major member, or sometimes you have
 not finished the work you need to finished, you can always exaggerate them
 a little bit, but not too much, like you can not tell them that you have
 finished a nobel thesis, unless you really did so.


(3)Show your speciality, in character, in work, in mathematics, in analysis,
 in developing a project, or in working in dependently, etc.

(4) Make yoru essay as clear as possible, I have choosen a strcuture as : 

1. personal experiences
2. academic awards and honors
3. The research experiences
4. The interests and purpose , IF you are admitted.

(5) Tell them you are a potential peopel and this potential will be furthur
 develpoed if you are admitted.

(6) Make you emotions in your essay, like the life of research will be my
 correct choice for this whole life or etc.

Somehting that you must avoid,

(1) Tell them you are a Nobel Laurate or academy member.
(2) Tell them which color you like best and which food you like best from
 your mother's kitchen.
(3) Tell them hwo your bf or gf looks like.
(4) Make a mistake in your discription in your research.
(5) No structure, Piles of grammar mistakes, no literature, etc.

Without your situation, I can not tell much how you should write it, becaue
 it differs from people to people. But remember, the resume is the most
 important thing in your applicaiotn, and you should spend at least a week to
 get a good resume.
