Interview questions generally fall into one of the following categories:
Biographical Questions: A semi-structured exploration of a person's past exp
eriences.
Tell me a little something about yourself.
What are some of your hobbies?
Behavioral Questions: A series of questions aimed at eliciting examples of h
ow a person handled specific situations or experiences in the past.
Describe a time when you had to take charge to get something done.
Tell me about an instance at work where you took the initiative to finish a 
project quickly.
Situational Questions: A series of hypothetical job-related questions in whi
ch the responses are evaluated against a set of expected answers.
What would you do if you caught a fellow employee stealing office products?
What would you tell a client if a project is behind schedule?
Projective Questions: A series of seemingly illogical questions that are dir
ected at eliciting information about a person's character.
If you were an animal, what kind would you be?
If you could go back in history, what time period would you travel to and wh
y?
