Canada, a federated country in North America, is one of the seven
well-developed western countries. Located to the north of the United 
States of America. Canada is the second largest country in area in 
the world with a population of only 30 million, which is only about 
2.5 times of the population of Beijing. The average annual income 
per capita is $25,000 USD. A typical family owns at least one car 
and one house. Canada is a highly developed country with excellent 
social welfare programs and a high standard of living. Each citizen 
is entitled to free medical care provided by his provincial 
government. 

In the survey on 181 countries conducted by the United Nations, 
Canada has ranked the top for 5 consecutive years in terms of 
quality of life. The survey covers many areas including living 
environment, quality of education, health care, criminal rate 
and unemployment rate. This gains Canada the international 
popularity as the best place to live. It is also a bilingual 
(both English and French are official language) country in 
which multiculturalism is promoted and every citizen is protected
under the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms. 
Ottawa is the capital of Canada. Montreal, Toronto and Vancouver 
are the most industrialized and commercialized cities. These cities 
will provide you with many business opportunities and chances for 
career development. Vancouver is not only a beautiful coastal city, 
but also a tourist resort and an ideal home for new immigrants
