        Just like the American Green Card, a Canadian immigration visa gives
you the right to live and work in Canada permanently. Three years 
after you become a landed immigrant, you can apply for Canadian 
Citizenship and therefore own a Canadian passport. A Canadian 
passport allows you to go to any western country for vacations, 
studies or to do business, without applying for a visa
