Your favorite music CDs or tapes (MUST!)
Medicine (Not that you need much of these here)
Cookbook (You will see the importance)
Small kitchen utensils
Rechargeable Batteries
Small gifts (e.g. traditional Chinese crafts, papercut, etc.)
T-shirts & jeans (These are everyday wear and remember you are expected to cha
nge the shirt every day.)
Jackets for spring and summer, coats for winter (you don’t wear sweaters that
 often here.)
Formal wear for classroom or conference presentations, interviews etc.
*Don’t bother with Microsoft products. They are availabe at a nominal price o
n campus as the university has a contract with Microsoft.
Computer reference books (books are EXPENSIVE)
A good dictionary (paper or electronic)
