The master's program in Medical Laboratory Science (MLS) offers four degree specializations: microbiology, biomedical
sciences, laboratory management, and cell/molecular biology. Within these specializations, students may pursue a thesis option,
which includes supervised independent research, or build a non-thesis program, which requires additional coursework. Most
MLS graduates earn their degrees as part-time students and complete the program in approximately three years. Because of
Quinnipiac's outstanding reputation in health services, many companies support employee enrollment in the MLS program.
