一个UT-Austin的学生的评价

Well I used to have some trash talking material on here, but I decided 
to ta
ke it off now that I am in graduate school.  All I will say is that UT,
 Rice
, and A&M all have very respectable graduate programs in 
communications and
signal processing.  If you want my own personal ranking of the top 5 
communi
cations schools, here we go
1.     University of Illinois
2.     Princeton
3.     Stanford
4.     Georgia Tech
5.     MIT
Five that are unranked but barely and in no particular order:  UC-San 
Diego,
 UC-Berkeley, A&M, Michigan, and Purdue.
In particular, I am a huge fan of several of the faculty at my own top 
five
schools.  At U of I, Blahut and Koetter are excellent.  I love Blahut’s
 tex
tbooks (too bad they are all out of print).  At Princeton, two of my 
persona
l heroes Poor and Verdu are there.  MIT also has Tarokh who has done 
really
neat stuff and another great hero of mine Forney.
