The John E. Anderson Graduate School of Management at UCLA
(University of California at Los Angeles)
Today, 62 years after the seeds were planted in the small
College of Commerce, The Anderson School has grown into the most
technologically advanced management school in the world. Its
programs are consistently ranked in the top ten, as are its
Executive and Fully Employed MBA programs. The School today has
134 faculty members, who, in addition to serving more than 600
full-time MBA students, approximately 400 Fully Employed MBA
students, nearly 140 Executive MBA students, and 80 Ph.D students,
produce up-to-the-minute findings at the school’s 15 research
centers.

Programs:
MBA
The MBA program is a two-year, full-time curriculum designed for
highly motivated, exceptional students. It is structured to ensure
that each graduate leaves with a leadership-level knowledge of
all key management disciplines. One of the most highly regarded
programs in the country, it emphasizes a global perspective,
entrepreneurship, and teamwork in classrooms featuring state-of-
the-art technology.
Executive MBA
An intensive 24-month program for mid-career and senior-level
managers and entrepreneurs, the executive MBA program is designed
for professionals who have demanding jobs with high levels of
responsibility and who seek a quality global management education
while continuing in their professional roles. Approximately 70
participants enroll in the program each year.
Fully Employed MBA
Targeted toward "emerging managers," the fully employed MBA
program meets the educational needs of the rapidly rising junior
level professionals who anticipate increased levels of
responsibility and an expanded management role. Approximately
130 applicants are admitted to the three-year program each year.
Doctoral Program in Management
The Doctoral Program in Management is a research and teaching
oriented program leading to a Ph.D. The program emphasizes the
production and dissemination of knowledge in the areas of
organization and management and offers ten major areas of
concentration.
Application Deadline:
Applicants may apply for fall admission from September 1 through
March 27.
Financial Aid
RESEARCH AND TEACHING ASSISTANTSHIPS
A limited number of research assistant and teaching assistant
positions are available. Students may apply for these positions
once they arrive on campus.
FELLOWSHIPS
A limited amount of fellowship support is available to exceptional
applicants to the MBA Program. Entering applicants are
automatically considered for Dean's Fellowships based on the
overall strength of their application for admission. No
application is needed.
