Harvard Divinity School, through its Master of Divinity Program, prepares men and women for ministries in a variety of denominations and public service vocations. The Office of Ministerial Studies has special oversight of several features of the M. Div.
program, including supervised field education (175+ sites), the chapel, assurance that students meet ministerial arts competencies, provision of denominational guidance and programing, development and offering of programs germane to ministry, and with
the rest of the faculty, the teaching of courses in ministry related areas.

The goal of this program is to train researchers in the speech and hearing sciences, by giving students a broad acquaintance with the overall field of speech and hearing as well as specialized knowledge to focus on a particular approach in research.
Unlike many speech and hearing graduate programs, this program does not aim to train clinical practitioners. Nevertheless, the program places strong emphasis on providing students with exposure to clinical problems, approaches, and techniques.

all levels of the communication process - Development of sensory aids (such as cochlear implants) and other prosthetic devices - Speech synthesis and recognition - Scientific studies of pathologies in speech, hearing and language
