Chemistry



 
OXFORD and Cambridge are inseparable at the top of the chemistry table, both having registered perfect scores for both teaching and research. Although 13 institutions were rated excellent for teaching, only the two ancient universities reached the 
pinnacle of the last research assessment exercise. 
Napier is the only former polytechnic to reach our top 20 for chemistry, having been rated highly satisfactory for teaching.
