The goal of this program is to train researchers in the speech and hearing sciences, by giving students a broad acquaintance with the overall field of speech and hearing as well as specialized knowledge to focus on a particular approach in research.
Unlike many speech and hearing graduate programs, this program does not aim to train clinical practitioners. Nevertheless, the program places strong emphasis on providing students with exposure to clinical problems, approaches, and techniques.
