Yes, we will accept the computer-based GRE score if you cannot retake the 
test
.  It appears that the problem is confined to the verbal portion of the GRE 
on
ly.  Since CEE requires a minimum TOEFL score of 600 (PBT)/250 (CBT) for 
admis
sion, we will use that as our basis for determining English ability, and no 
ex
ceptions to those scores will be made.  And, as always, our decisions are 
base
d on a review of all materials requested with the formal application, not 
just
 GRE.  Please note that this is CEE's decision only; other Fields of Study 
at 
Cornell may not accept the computer-based GRE, so all applicants to Cornell 
sh
ould check with the Field they intend to apply to for that Field's GRE 
policy.
