陪读出去的人要在美国入学需将 F-2签证转成 F-1. 以前只需到墨西哥
(或其它第三国)转签一下即可. 但现在美国有新规定, 不得在第三国
转签. 只能回本国签证, 而回国签证移民倾向太严重. 所以欲陪读的同志
最好等你的先生或夫人给你争取到奖学金后以 F-1 身份出国, 但这样
恐怕难逃交培养费的厄运.

只 听 说J-2转 F-1 需 到 第 三 国 转 签 ， 
F-2转 F-1直 接在 当 地 INS办 就 行 。

Sometimes Chinese students are not familiar with the immigration regulations 
of USA. Why don NOT you get information directly from the homepage ofINS?
