I have received your package and it has been put into a file for the
evaluation committee.  The committee will be meeting shortly to discuss all
applications received thus far.
At this point in time, the only documents missing are your official GRE and
TOEFL scores.  Please make arrangements to send this to us if you have not
already done so.  I will contact you if anything else is required.
Here is an outline of our evaluation process for your information:
1) Our Department does a preliminary assessment of your application,
ensuring that your standings meet or exceed our requirements for graduate
studies. We also check that all your documentation is complete.
2) Once we have received the above mentioned document(s) our evaluation
will continue.
If we have evaluated you as a suitable candidate your application is then
sent to the Faculty of Graduate Studies and Research with our
recommendation that they approve your application in a final appraisal and
formal admission approval (they are an independent and governing body for
graduate admission approval).
3) We send a letter from our department ensuring financial assistance ( I
will also endeavor to contact you with our intentions by email) and the
Faculty of Graduate Studies sends you an official admission approval letter.
This can be a time consuming process based on the large number of
applicants our Department receives. We thank you for your patience in
advance and will update you should your status change.
