标  题: 请教TOEFL高手语法问题(1)

赖水信's高分TOEFL文法中说that作为关系代名词前不可加介系词.(P.82)
for example:This　is the house in that he lived.(False)
But when I was doing TOEFL 89.8 section2 question 15,I met with
such a problem:Anthropology　is a science__anthropologists use
 a rigorous set of methods and techniques to document
observations that can be checked by others.
A. in that  B.that in  C.that D.in
Considering what has been said in that book I chose C,but the
correct answer is A.
I am very puzzled.
