！

Dear Visa Officer:

It has been nearly two months since I left my homeland,
China, to
pursue graduate study in the Department of *** at the
University
of ***. Though life here is much more stressful than in
China, I am
getting accustomed to the work and life here. I believe that
after
two years of hard work, I will be well qualified to be a
professional
*** when I go back to China. It has been a dream of mine for
years.

My biggest emotional problem is being apart from my wife,
***. We
have been in love with each other since we were classmates
during
high school. In these eight years she has always been the
only
sunshine in my life. Without her, my life is just in the
dark.

Since I am holding a teaching assistantship from the school,
it
supplies me the funds to cover all my expenses and more than
half
of my wife’s costs here. Also, from our three years of work
in
China, we have enough personal savings to cover all her
costs here.

To study and work in an U.S. university like the University
of ***
is undoubtedly an immense accomplishment in my life, but I
also have
been punished in the process—I had to leave my loved one
behind in
China. Now she’s standing in front of you and applying for
the Visa
to visit me for a few months. I hope you can approve her
application
and make the sunshine visible in my life in the U.S.
