A company in NJ applied H-1 visa for me two months ago. However,
I got a much better job offer from another company last week
which is also located in NJ. Can I apply for another H-1 at
the second company? Or should I keep the first application
and then transfer the H-1 for the second company?


A: You can apply for a new H-1B visa at the second company
while your first one is pending. I suggest that you apply for a
new H-1B right now rather than wait until the first one is
approved and then transfer. It will save you a lot of time.
