4 am: get up
4:30 am: met with my two friends and took a taxi from PKU to the embassy
5:10 am: arrived at the embassy and got No. 54, 55, 56. &
7:00 am: We were told to wait outside the door at 8:15 am
8:15 am: entered the embassy and got a white card.

惊险开始! 我们仨处于第四队. 8:40 No.4 Window 开了. 签证官为中年美国男子, 第一
队上. 十分钟后 No.5Window 开第二队上,  签证官为台湾MM(也许是南韩魔女), 中文贼好
第一队虽十个被据六个, 但全奖学生不多, 问题较少. 台湾MM 则似乎心狠手辣, 几个探
亲被据, 问题不少. 15 分钟后, 眼看第三队要上No.5Window, 我们则要碰上台湾MM, 暗
呼不妙, No. 3 Window 开了,第三队与南韩魔女短兵相接. 我们注定上No. 4 Window 了.

9:10 am: It's our turn. Although I was waiting in the middle of the  team, the 
officer selected me as the first one.

M(me): Good Morning, Sir.
O(fficer): Good Morning.
(I gave him my GRE TOEFL Scores ad the fellowship letter. Do not give the
transcript until he asks you to do so.)
O: Your GRE score is really very high. 
M: Yeah!
O: XXXX University! Congradulations!
M: Yeah! 
O: What will you study in USA?
M: Economics.
O: What ********?
M: What?
O: What **** Undergraduate**?
M: EConomics.
O: What do you plan to do after you complete your PhD study?
M: I will come back to China and join a sector of the goverment and do some
 research work for the goverment.
O: I hope you will come back to China.
M: Thank you. 
   I nearly forgot to take the white card back. If you pass the interview, the
 officer will give the card back to you. If not, the passport.

Then one of my friends passed easily. The questions are similar.

Ten minutes later, it's the turn of the other friend of mine. Questions are
easy. But he made a mistake. When he was told that he would get the visa,
he left the window immediately without taking the card and saying "Thank You".
The officer asked him to come back and said angerly: " I have not issued the 
Visa to you, how can you go away?" My friend said a lot od SORRRYs and got the
white card finaly.

Ten minute later, when we were waiting for the yellow paper, a student made a 
same mistake like my friend. This time the officer asked to come back and gave
the passport back to him, no matteer how many SORRYs he said.

据一个人需要理由吗? 需要! 要多少? 一点点!
