一、序曲

6.17 下午于前门地铁东北出口进入天安门广场，隐约可见街道对面的珠宝店招牌，即
为东交民巷入口。约三点半到达出入境办事处，杀了半个小时时间，于四点后取得本应
6.18 取的护照。

6.18 上午于建国门东北出口打 taxi 到达秀水东街二号，其时7:40。排了20分钟队，
于使馆门前一号窗口领得93号，6.19上午8:45。星期四只签 those ever been refused
不过还是先去领个号，一个上午大约签280~300 人，照目前形势，星期五上午只能领到
300 以后，那意味着你需要在炎炎夏日中渡过一个“痛苦而兴奋”的中午（见前leonid
文），获得难得的值得以后久久回味的人生体验。

镜头切回清华，在bbs 上向moira 等“革命先驱”请教OF-156表的填写（it turns out
to be meaningless,no one cares），收集总结“高频题”、“经典题”。下面无妨抛
砖引玉：

高频题： 
1、问专业
   What will you study in the United States?
   What is your major? In what aspect of your major will you study?
   What will you do in US?(to study.. for .. degree)
2、问毕业去向
   What will you do after you get your ..degree?(I will come back and
   be a professor,open my company,do some academic work,do some teaching 
   and research work,etc.)
难题：
1、Why do you want to go to the US?(US has leading edge in my major/learn
   advanced technology/broaden my horizen and enrich my experience/benifit
   my future career)
2、Why do you receive financial aid from ..Univ.?(I have been selected on 
   the basis of outstanding record,potential for success, sth as in your
   admission letter and offer letter.)
3、How many schools did you apply? Why do you choose..Univ.?
   What do you think of .. Univ.?
   (high reputation, excellent faculty and research facilities, challenging
    program,etc.,sth as in your statement)
4. Why did you choose .. as your major?(my interest in .. dates back to my
   childhood, there have been rapid developments in .. and they have brought
   great changes to economy and society, challenging and rewarding,sth as
   in your statement)
专业题：
CS: what is DOS, LAN?
我们EE 还没听说，我曾咂摸 自动柜员机ATM(just kidding)，SONET，PSTN，PABX，
可惜也没有机会表现，估计他们也不太懂。
请其他专业同志继续提供。
6.18 晚上，听了些TOEFL和New Concept English,激发一下快发霉的耳朵。
