there r 4 Makefiles:
        Makefile: result is socksd
        Makefile.debug: result is socksd.debug
        Makefile.v4: result is socks4d
        Makefile.v4.debug: result is socks4d.debug

.debug is for many debug statements in the source code those r included in
#ifdef DEBUG and #endif. this cause the socks server output some debuging
information to the terminal. Makefile.v4 is only for socks version4, the
result socksv4d can surpport only v4 standard.
